First official day of summer break! Yipeeee! Melissa and I headed out for a shoot. First, we did a little tour of where I grew up (three or four blocks from where I now live, but totally packed with family members houses). Then, since we had talked about "urban decay" pictures earlier in the week, I dragged her to my favorite "rural decay" spot- The barns.
he he - I spy a photographer who has a great eye
Then, we headed to "The gardens" at the university. It was a nice, little, shaded nature walk and that was a good thing. Poor Melissa was getting redder and redder and hotter too, as her sun burn was coming out. I felt bad for her. After that she took me home. It was a relaxing way to start the vacation.

ReplyDeleteSo jealous!
ReplyDeleteThat last shot of yours is spectacular! Talk about a photographer with a good eye! Of course, I was on fire by that time, so I don't think I was seeing too much ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fun time and the tour!
I agree with Momo. That last shot is my favorite! I love pics of bridges...
