13/365-Subbing in Science

Today during my planning period, I subbed in a Chemistry class. They have two lizard things (The students told me they were komodo dragons). This one spent the entire 84 minutes sitting on top of the other one and giving me the evil eye. How rude! :)

Exposure 0.017 sec (1/60)
Aperture f/4.5
Focal Length 25.7 mm
ISO Speed 200
Exposure Bias 0 EV

  1. I love that you're carrying your camera around in school. I will have my camera with me tomorrow to be ready for our excursion, so I may do a school photo tomorrow.
    That's a cool shot.

  2. Thanks. I almost always have my camera with me. One of the joys of NOT having a DSLR. (Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to have one).
A school photo...tomorrow? I'm hoping you get that awesome eagle shot! :) But its good to have a backup plan in case we don't see any. I'm excited to see you guys and to have a photo excursion.

  3. You'll have one one day...honestly, I wish I could have afforded to keep the p90 as well as have the dslr, but unfortunately i had to sell the one to help pay for the other.
I do think the p90 is an awesome hybrid and a great way to learn manual. I think you can shoot raw with it too. I wish I would have done more manual with it when I had it.

  5. That thing creeped me out too! Good thing it was in a tank or I think it might have tried to eat me. :)

FYI- dslr is the type of advanced camera with interchangable lenses like Melissa's. I use a Nikon p90 (brand and model number). Its a "point and shoot" camera like yours, but more advanced. Its the step below hers.
