15/365- Required reading

After yesterday's eagle experience, I felt pretty patriotic. Today's picture is of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, music for The Star Spangled Banner, and an early sketch of the front of the Great seal. E Pluribus Unum is Latin for "Out of many, one".

  1. Are you reading all of this????
Are those all separate papers or what is this a picture of? They look separate, but this could be a poster for a social studies classroom. Maybe you should sell it to Teacher's Discovery for Social Studies :)

  2. HA...No I'm not reading all of this right now. The title just means that if you are American, You should know what these mean and at some point in your life, whether in school or as an adult, you should read them.
I printed off the documents from different government websites like the National Archives and the Smithonian. Then just rearranged them into a pile on a black background.
Thanks for thinking I could sell it. Maybe I should check into that. :)

  3. That really could be on a poster. I like using a theme. I'm singing America the Beautiful at the screen right now.
