18/365 - I don't know what to call it

Any ideas?

Its the inside of a painted light bulb. I took the picture, then flipped and rotated it three more times and made a collage. Here's the indiviual shot. I like how one bulb is reflecting another.
Maybe I'll call it "Got a light?"

Exposure 0.02 sec (1/50)
Aperture f/4.0
Focal Length 10.3 mm
ISO Speed 200
Exposure Bias 0 EV
Flash Off, Did not fire

  1. ? I still don't know what it is? What is a painted light bulb? It's a cool shot, sort of like a mystery :)

  2. It's a normal household light bulb. The glass has white paint on it unlike the bathroom vanity lights that can be clear. You can't see the fillament and stuff through the paint, but there is a small clear area between the paint and the metal threads where you can see a little of the inner workings. I had to take this at a weird angle. I also had to get it to focus on the stuff inside, not the glass.

  4. I think I see. Where did you get the idea for this shot? It sort of reminds me of a kalidoscope from when we were kids only black and white.

  5. The kids in the photography class at school did some thing like this a long time ago. I didn't like the regular edits to the picture, so I started playing around.
