7/365-the weekend

I wish I could say I'm going to have fun and exciting weekend. Alas, 'tis not so.
The "honey- do" list is getting long and since there's no honey, I guess that leaves me.

My mom called to inform me that Dad has decided to have the heating and cooling unit replaced in my house. They will have to have access to the laundry room (that's where the unit is) and ALL the vents in the entire house. While the men will be here they will be cleaning the all duct work.
Translation: Panic - then clean like a mad woman.

It looks like that huge pile of laundry (hence the photo) will finally have to be washed and the whole house cleaned. It needs to be done. I should have done it over the break. But I'd rather be out taking pictures. :)

I like this photo. I cropped it a smidgen and desaturated the color a little to give the jeans a more faded look. If I were to change anything, I might flatten out the zipper a bit and move the button hole part from the lower left of the frame. I would also move the light source or reposition the pants to lighten the lower right.

  1. I like the way something so small becomes so important in the photo. Where would we be without that thingamajig on the zipper?

Maybe the men will be single and hot.

  2. Ummm...I am in LOVE with this picture!!! I think it's specTACular! It is amazingly clear, the diagonal line of the zipper draws the eye to the pull, the color of the jeans, the fact that you can see the texture of the fabric...perfection!

Paige - I think we'd be stuck. Let's hope it would be in the up position. he he If they're gonna be hot a single I'll start cleaning NOW!

Melissa - Thanks for the high praise and for the DPS link. I read an article about composition. I guess it paid off. :)
