65/365 - The landing

Being with the girls is so necessary sometimes. They're like chicken soup for my soul. So today a couple of of the shutterbug yayas and I headed to the landing. Aside from Melissa forgetting her camera ;), It was awesome strolling along, chatting, looking for a shot.
Paige was the ultimate Mardi Gras leftovers spotter! So fun, like a little scavenger hunt! She has a great eye for detail and for photography in general.
Look closely in the puddle reflection and you can see some beads.

Melissa was the helper/teacher/tutor. "come over here and get this", "might have better luck, if...", "DON'T TOUCH IT! Take a picture of it!" :)
It was great having someone there who knows their stuff to help. Loved it!
The best part... These ladies!!!!!

  1. Hehehe...love them all but of course you know my faves are the mardi gras stuff. Nice work. I have to say I'm really enjoying seeing you regularly.

GGA, my coat could be used to upholster a couch!

  2. Awwww! Your pics turned out great! I actually really like the picture you made me take with me holding the bars of the gate- it makes me look tough! The homeless guy is awesome too! I'll have to take a closer look at each individual pic. Had fun with you today!
