35/365 - part 2- Patience

Someone once told me that if you want to learn patience, eat a whole bowl of rice one grain at a time. Can't say I've ever tried it, but I have watched a cold pot of water grow to a boil. (Yeah.. I know...I was a bored kid, what can I say?)

  1. Chinese food last night? You don't need to do that because you're already patient. Lawd knows I could never be as patient with your students as you are.

I've never watched the whole process of boiling water but I recall glancing over and seeing the water just start to move. I know it's the molecules warming up but to my dreamy mind it's like magic.
    You know who.........

  2. So did you try it with this rice? Are you at a restaurant or at home making this stuff?
These pictures just make me want to go out for chinese and start taking pictures of everything!
Maybe we should plan a "cultural dining experience", not so much for the food, but for some pictures! :)
